What's New
In June 2007, twenty-two volunteers from Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill brought a taste of home to United States and coalition troops stationed overseas. The two-week Feeding Freedom V mission was a huge success, making stops in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan to serve 20,000 service men and women. The menu featured Bloomin' Onions, Calamari, Vegetable Ravioli, Cavatappi Amatriciana, Ribeye Steaks, Baked Potatoes, Boule Bread and Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Herb Mix and for dessert Chocolate Chocolate Tower and Amaretto Swirl Cheesecake.

Since 2001 Outback has made five trips overseas to feed United States and coalition soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Djibouti and aboard the USS Nimitz. This is the second year that Outback and Carrabba's have made this effort together. During these missions, volunteers have fed over 80,000 soldiers.

Outback is very fortunate and proud to be able to serve our troops in this way. It is an honor knowing that we have brought a smile and boosted morale while providing quality food to the brave men and women that are representing our country overseas.
